Clinics We Offer

DIABETES CLINIC

Cervical Smears

These are held by appointment daily.

An automatic reminder is sent to you when a smear is due.

Diabetes Care

We currently have a Diabetes Nurse working within the surgery who oversees the care of all our Diabetes patients.  All of our diabetes patients will be called for a Diabetes annual health check where they will see a Health Care Assistant for general observations and a blood test.  All results will be given to the Diabetes Nurse for review along with our lead Diabetes GP and if further input is required, you will be offered a further appointment to come in and see the Diabetes Nurse who will provide additional advice and where necessary, relevant treatment.

For patients who believe their Diabetes is not well controlled or they need further input, we would ask that you contact the Reception team who will take the details and arrange an appointment with the most relevant healthcare professional. This may be a GP or the Diabetes Nurse.

She will advise you on health matters related to the countries you are visiting and arrange the vaccinations required. Some of these take time to become effective and need a course of treatment.
