When We Are Closed

outofhoursThe local Out of Hours Service provide emergency medical care for patients between the hours of 6.30 pm and 8.00 am Monday to Friday and from 6.30pm on Friday to 8am Monday.

If you require assistance for a medically urgent problem during the above times please ring 111 who will take details of your problem and advise you what to do.  They will either provide telephone advice, arrange for you to visit the Emergency Centre at Grantham Hospital or offer to visit you if you are too ill to travel.

If you are unable to contact a practitioner and the emergency persists, then ring 999 without delay.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
